As an AI/ML Engineer at AIMMS, you’ll play a key role in shaping and building the next generation of AI-powered features within our optimization platform and our off the shelf supply chain planning product. You’ll work on GenAI functionality that directly helps customers like ASML and Shell make better, faster, and more sustainable decisions. 

You’ll join a collaborative R&D environment where experimentation is encouraged, learning is continuous, and your ideas can directly influence the product roadmap. 

You’ll operate in a fast feedback loop: 

• Prototype new ideas 

• Validate them with real users 

• Turn them into production-ready features 

With dedicated time for experimentation and internal hackathons, you’ll continuously explore what’s possible—and actually ship it. This role is ideal if you want to work at the intersection of AI innovation and real-world impact.  

You will: 

• Build GenAI features – Design and implement customer-facing AI functionality within our products. 

• Prototype & experiment – Explore new ideas, validate them with users, and turn insights into product improvements. 

• Own AI components end-to-end – From data pipelines to deployed models. 

• Support the data platform – Help maintain and improve data pipelines and infrastructure. 

• Collaborate across teams – Work with engineers, product managers, and users to deliver impactful solutions. 

• Stay ahead of the curve – Bring the latest AI/ML developments into the organization. 

What Will Help You Thrive and Be Successful 

You’ll be a great fit if you bring: 

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) field; A degree in Computer Science, Data Science or AI is preferred. 

• Strong technical foundation – Solid understanding of software development and ML systems. 

• Hands-on experience – Python, SQL, and Docker in real-world projects. 

• Cloud experience – Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms. 

• Early-career ML experience – Around 1–3 years as an ML Engineer or similar role. 

• Product mindset – You enjoy building solutions that directly impact users. 

• Curiosity & learning drive – You actively explore new technologies and approaches. 

• Strong communication skills – Comfortable collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

• Ownership mentality – You take responsibility for what you build and deliver. 

Nice to have: 

• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment and Agile teams 

• Familiarity with GenAI/LLMs and experimentation workflows 

• Understanding of optimization or supply chain domains
