You’ll join a small, highly collaborative cloud team where you’ll help decompose a legacy Java monolith into modern C++ microservices. While your core strength is the backend, we will support you in becoming a true Fullstack expert by contributing to our React & TypeScript portal.

How You’ll Make an Impact

This role is ideal if you enjoy working on complex technical challenges while staying connected to real user value. You’ll contribute to the transition from a legacy monolithic backend toward a modern, scalable microservices architecture, helping shape the future of our product. Your work will be used by leading global organizations such as ASML, ABN AMRO, and Shell, helping them make smarter, faster, and more sustainable decisions through optimization technology. 

• Build Backend Services – Design and implement modern C++ microservices and REST APIs.

• Bridge to the Frontend – Gradually take on more features in our React portal as your skills grow.

• Modernize the Core – Help us move away from legacy Java toward a scalable, cloud-native architecture.

• Collaborate – Work closely with DevOps and Frontend specialists in a flat, high-trust environment.

What Will Help You Thrive and Be Successful 

You’ll be a great fit if you bring:

• 2–4 years of Software Engineering experience – You understand how to write clean, maintainable code.

• Strong C++ Fundamentals – You are comfortable with modern C++ and memory management.

• Fullstack Ambition – You don't need to be a React expert yet, but you must be excited to learn and work in TypeScript.

• Problem Solver Mindset – You enjoy the challenge of distributed systems and microservices.

• Communication – You are transparent, structured, and enjoy working in an international team.
