Your Role 

As People & Workplace Specialist, you’ll ensure an outstanding employee experience and smooth daily operations across AIMMS. You’ll collaborate closely with the Head of People & Culture, managers, and teams to create an environment where people feel supported, engaged, and inspired. 

You’ll balance operational excellence with creative cultural initiatives, becoming a trusted point of contact for both colleagues and partners, and a key driver of our workplace culture. 

Your key focus areas: 

  • People Operations: Manage HR administration, contracts, employee data, and HRIS; support onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, and L&D projects. You’ll spot opportunities to streamline processes and make our people operations more efficient and engaging. 

  • Office & Facilities: Be the first point of contact for colleagues and visitors, ensuring our Haarlem office runs smoothly. Oversee supplies, lunch coordination, workplace safety (BHV), and maintain a welcoming, vibrant workspace that reflects our culture. 

  • Culture & Events: Bring our values to life by organizing events, celebrations, and recognition moments that strengthen team connection and pride. From monthly gatherings to annual traditions, you’ll make AIMMS a place people love to come to. 

This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on tasks and strategic involvement, ideal for someone eager to grow into a broader People & Culture role within a purpose-driven tech company. 

Job requirements

What You Bring 

  • 2–3 years of experience in HR or People Operations 

  • Knowledge of Dutch HR law and practices 

  • Strong English & Dutch communication skills 

  • Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and proactive 

  • A genuine interest in people and creating an inclusive culture 

  • This is a hands-on role, so a minimum of 3 days in the office is required
